After being hospitalized since February 19, Julie has started a new chapter in her rehabilitation. She was discharged from St. Jude’s last week and is continuing her recovery at home surrounded by her family.
The insurance company is working out the details of her continued therapy as she still has a lot of work to do, but she’s doing amazing things each day. Last week she typed a text message to a friend and she’s working on strengthening her muscles so she can walk again.
Thank you for your prayers over the last seven months. Your support has been a blessing. My hope is that Julie will be able to personally thank you one day.

What wonderful news! I know her family must be thrilled to have her home, and she must love being in a more cozy environment. We'll continue to pray that her therapy progresses well and she continues to show the power of God through her recovery.
Julie, What great news, you are home at last! The students, faculty and staff of the art department continue to hold you and your family up in our prayers, we will not stop. You have so much courage and strength, you inspire me.
Julie,
Professor Becky Roe has designed a bookmark about you and it went to print yesterday. We will hand them out to remind people to keep praying for you and your family. It has this blog on it so students can stay aware of your progress. As always, you are in my thoughts.

Julie,
I hope you are continuing to heal. You remain in my thoughts and I check this blog often for updates. The bookmarks are in people's hands to remind them of you and to keep you and your family active in our prayers. As we approach Thanksgiving, I am thankful for you and the incredible gift you are to all who have crossed your path. May God continue to bess you and your family,
